The National Social Sciences Award was established by the Cuban Institute of the Book del the Ministry of Culture and the Cuban Academy of Sciences (ACC) and is conferred as a testimony of public acknowledgement to the work of well known researchers and writers who have outstandingly contributed with their creations to developing different disciplines of Social Sciences.
