Summary: It is about the development of a technology to obtain crystalline glucose of alimentary degree (94% of purity) and also 99-100% of purity to obtain a sorbitol able to produce vitamin "C".  The researches lasted several years, with the participation of 10 researchers. It was simultaneously obtained syrup rich in fructose with an appropiate sweetening quality. The production is easily assimilated and it does not produce any residues. Two plants of 1200 t/year have been built and are in operation, and a third one is in construction phase to produce glucose of second crystallization.
