Summary: The work provides arguments on the articulation of Marxism, Leninism and Marti’s thought in the neocolonial republic, especially in the work of Carlos Rafael Rodríguez, as well as methodological suppositions to study this problem. In the context of the evolution of neocolonial republic ‘s spiritual production and historical environment, there are exposed the antecedents of Marxist and Leninist articulation process and national traditions- especially in Marti’s thought, and the specificity of this process in the work of Carlos Rafael Rodríguez, in three essential moments: youth’s revolucionary formation in 1953, when the Centenary Generation emerges, and in the 70s, to demonstrate Marti’s influence as starting point of the assumption of people’s ideology, from which it analyzes the links between Marti and Cuban marxist - leninists, reasserting that they were direct heirs to his legacy; and that Cuban socialist revolution gives expression to Marti’s national project and projects it towards socialism for historical needs. The contributions of Carlos Rafael Rodríguez and other Cuban Marxists to the development of historiography are outstanding. The rigorous study of Marxist methodology has allowed highlighting the referents, the contextualization and evolution of ideas in Cuba, which has made posible making progress on the study of current Cuban revolutionary thought, and going to other revolutionary general theoretical and practical analysis levels of this articulation, subject on which a work is being carried out.
