Summary: The work is developed in the context of the studies carried out by the best scientists of the work, about the physical properties of new semiconductor structures of low dimensionality, very important in microelectronics (high technology). With its application, there have been obtained important results that have made possible the scientific understanding of the interaction of radiation with wide application possibilities in opto and microelectronics. The studies carried out during the last two years, which are related to energetic spectra, electronic states and absorption spectra of quasiperiodic systems (quasicrystals) in the presence of magnetic fields have not only allowed explaining the existent experimental data, but also establishing completely new properties, very important to understand the physical properties of such systems. The works here considered have been published in prestigious magazines of the highest scientific level in the subject: PhysicalReviewB, faumal ofAppliedPhysics, Applied Physics Letters, and they represent updated and widely used contributions for the laboratories where these types of structures are designed. It obtained the prize "To the result that reflects the most original and trascendental scientific advance", of the University of Havana in 1995.
