Summary: It is a very significant contribution in order to know this important stage of Cuban history; it deals with the study of group composition of insular bourgeoisie, highlighting the phenomenon of the creation of a strong pressure group – which emerged as a consequence of speculative management during the War of 1968 -, which became the Decision Center of colonial political strategy, in the island’s environment as well as in the metropolitan governmental space. The investigation traces the origen of the characteristics of this group, the figures that are part of it and, also, it follows its evolution through this period, regarding its incidence on the formulation of the colonial administrative management and on the effects that its action had inside insular bourgeoisie, fracturing its unity of action and thought. This investigation is supported by an extense bibliography and, primarily, by an intelligent and deep use of the press of that time. There have been exposed partial aspects of this work in many scientific conferences, educational activities and other public expositions, according to the certifications enclosed.
