Summary: The work in the continuous development and installation of a National System of Massive Investigation has been developed for more than 15 years, which is composed by several programs developed with and for Cuban Health System. The capacity that has been demonstrated when extending, maintaining and enlarging the programs inside an unique system (with a net of 120 laboratories, and more than 35 million tests carried out in Cuba with a rigorous external quality control), the results and the effectiveness of these programs, and the growing tendency to the dissemination of SUMA technology abroad (since it covers 89 laboratories in Latin America), determined the realization of a strategy balance and its presentation and discussion worldwide. There are exposed in this work the main conceptions of the strategy for the organization and the development of technologies for the massive investigation that our country has followed, besides the main recommendations for their application in developing countries; although it is known that some of these experiences transform these results into a model to world scale in this moment and due to experts’ assessments.
