Summary:

The result is the scientific work exposed in 19 scientific publications from 1994 to 1999.

The subject treated in this work is internationally considered as a leading-edge direction in contemporary science, which consists on obtaining a widespread theory that bases the behavior of the so called complex systems.

This scientific result has the unquestionable merit of having been developed from a managing idea given by the interest of its authors on a national problem: the energy crisis originated in our country at special period's beginning. This endorses very positively the attitude of a scientific community who pay attention to a National reality.

The main and original contribution of this result is the generalizing approach of ramified processes, together with the use of fractal geometry, when describing processes so diverse as the fragmentation of drops of liquids, nuclear disintegration, losses by absorption of sounds in liquids, among others. In turn, these works have demonstrated the strong link that exists among the geometric characteristics of bodies and their static and dynamic physical properties.

It is a useful element that endorses this result the fact that it has been partially and systematically published in prestigious magazines, such as Physical Review, Physica A, Journal of Chemical Physics, Physical Review Letters, among others; and it has been presented in the most renowned Physics congresses in this subject (Statphys 19 and 20).
