Summary:

It is a basic research which produced original results. It links the expression of viral oncogenes to the increase of vascular endothelium's growth factor, which had not been previously described. It creates a new experimental model of mouse (fibroblasts 3T3 transfected with HPV-16) that can be very useful for research of new vaccines and pharmacos against that virus. In fact, the pattern generates a competitive advantage for our researches. The presented results have set the scene for the design of a long rational therapy with low IFNa dose in the case of patients affected by Cervical Cancer.

These results have been obtained using diverse modern techniqhes of Molecular Biology. They have originated 6 scientific articles; one in a Cuban magazine and five in foreign magazines of wide circulation.
