

The work shows the results obtained by a group of authors during 20 years of research in this field. It aims at the study of processes associated to the elimination of sulphur, nitrogen and aromatic composites in oil by-products and its negative environmental impact. It deals with the search of more active and selective processes and catalysts for fuel hydrotreatment, particularly for those obtained from heavy crude oils.
