This work deals with a new scientific method for the sinthesis of continuous distillation with homogeneous and heterogeneous separating agents, which constitute essential tools for the design of new azeotropical distillation technological charts in discontinuous columns allowing the retrieval of organic dissolvent mixtures aimed at improving the cost efectiveness of production processes in the pharmaceutical, biotechnological and chemical industries and at reducing the contaminant effects of this kind of industries.
A new theoretical method is developed in this work for the sinthesis of the heterogeneous azeotropical distillation in order to obtain the dynamic behaviour of the process in the separation of mixtures in different column configuration. Likewise, a group of thermodynamic and topological regularities were established which allow the selection of homogeneous and heterogeneous separating agents.
The results of this work have been presented at 5 international and 3 national events ; and have been published in 4 articles of outstanding international reviews and one article in a national review.
