Summary:

The scientific result describes the combination of chromatographic and spectrometric profiled methhods for the structural asignation or corroboration of glycoproteins N-glycans at phentomolar level. The insertion of a new fluorophore, La introducción de un nuevo fluoróforo, the 4-aminobenzoic (4ABA) which is used in fluorescent marking of N-oligosaccharides, makes possible the addecuate characterization of N-glycans mainly marked in mass spectrometry(MALDI).

It is backed up by scientific publications in high impact rate journals and presentations in international events.

It has a non affordable methodological strength for many high level international institutions. Counting on a methodology like the one described herein, allows closing complete cycles regarding new biopharmaceutical development and production, both for human and animal use. It also allows having the critical analytic battery to develop new systems of therapeutical glycoproteins expression.

It has constituted a tool in our country for EPO characterization, the antibodies hypogalactosilation in the celiac desease and the characterization of monoclonal antibodies used in purificating hepatitis B vaccine.
