This result constitutes one of the most consistent basis to state the total tuberculosis control and its eradication in our country. Findings prove that there are no Cuba circulating strains resistant to first and second line drugs , constituting the lower figure in the Americas.

It constitutes the FIRST WORLD REPORT using various RAPID DIAGNOSIS METHODS TO DETERMINE RESISTANCE TO ANTITUBERCULOSIS DRUGS, with its corresponding economic benefit (results obtained in a week instead of a month).
