NGF levels changes are described in human neurodegenerative processes and experimental models as well as the evaluation of neurorestoring techniques influence on experimental clinic neurodegeneration. As a result, NGF content decrease was proved, both in Prkinson and Korea of Huntington, which constitutes an international novel founding. The dinamics of endogen NGF content variations is reflected, associated to different clinic progression stages of neurodegenerative processes in experimental patients and models.
Apparently, these changes are not easy influenced by the treatment, but they are when using neurorestoration techniques, specially in its combined modality, which can be important for the development of new therapeutical interventions forms. It is presented a molecular support to the effects of functional improvement made by NGF on senile brain, at the same time it contributes in a model with a high predictive capacity, having high perspectives to generate new therapeutical research strategies.
It has more than 10 publications in main journals and a Health Annual Award given by MINSAP in 2004.
