Summary:

This result constitutes a contribution to the world vaccine development due to the originality of the obtention process.

It is supported by the sanitary register given in Cuba, the license for its production, the establishement of sysntesis productive process at industrial scale under right production practices, the production of more than a million of doses in 2004, the creation of production capacities for 10 millions of doses per year, the development of clinical studies even in new born babies, the request of patent in more than 20 countries, and the publications of results in several national and international journals of impact, with special emphasis on “Science” journal. This work has had a great repercussion in the international specialized press.

It counts on the supports of the riquired agencies, but more than that, it counts on the support of life itself, after its insertion in our National Health System, having highly satisfactiory results.
